The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 („Cr.P.C.‟) has been filed on behalf of petitioner seeking direction to the respondent to release the petitioner with other co-convicts on furlough simultaneously in future or in alternative and to decide the application of the petitioner within a stipulated time.
