The present petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking release of the petitioner on parole for a period of two months.

The learned Standing Counsel for the State, at the outset, submits that the application of the petitioner is pending for the last more than six weeks, and the same will be disposed of within a period of two weeks from today.

In view of the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.
