After making some submissions, counsel for the Applicant, states that he would like to withdraw the present application. 2.

At the same time, he points out to the Court that the post of the Presiding Judge at the Trial Court has been lying vacant since last six months. Although, the chargesheet has been filed, the charges have not been framed and as a result, the testimonies of the witnesses have also not been recorded.

In light of the foregoing, the present application is dismissed as withdrawn.

However, considering that for last six months, the case has not progressed any further, a direction is issued to the concerned Principal District and Sessions Judge to take appropriate steps so that the trial in the present case progresses without further delay.
