Petitioner seeks grant of parole for a period of eight weeks to enable him to construct his house. Application in this regard was moved on 22.12.2025.

Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel (Crl.) for State appears on advance notice and submits that petitioner was already on furlough and had surrendered on 26.12.2026 and if he wanted to seek parole for construction of his house, ideally, he should have moved aforesaid application well-in-advance. He, however, submits that his request, which is yet not decided, would be disposed of in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from today.

On the basis of aforesaid assurance given by learned Standing Counsel, learned counsel for petitioner does not seek any further relief.
