% 01.11.2019 Mr. Manjeet Singh Ahluwalia, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions from the latter, does not press this habeas corpus petition any further, in view of the circumstance that Ms. Manpreet Kaur, the 20 year old daughter of the petitioner has returned home, in the meantime.
The petition is dismissed as not pressed and disposed of accordingly. Needless to state that, the Delhi Police shall conduct an investigation into the circumstance of Manpreet Kaur's being allegedly lured away from home, and file a report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, expeditiously, in accordance with law.
