% 22.11.2019 The present petition has been instituted on behalf of Mr. Dev Raj Yadav, seeking a writ in the nature of habeas corpus, directing the Government of NCT of Delhi to produce his 20 year old daughter Ms. Priya, who went missing from her parental home on 05.10.2019. Mr. Dev Raj Yadav, his wife Smt. Seema Devi and their adult daughter Ms. Priya, are present in Court today and we have had occasion to interact with them.

It is an admitted position that, Ms. Priya's date of birth according to the date of birth certificate issued by the Government of NCT of Delhi, records her date of birth as 13.10.1999 and she has,

therefore, attained majority.

It is further an admitted position that Ms. Priya left her parental home of her own free will and married Mr. Prithvi Raj Chauhan s/o Mr. Rakesh Chauhan resident of H.No.105, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi-110072, on 11.11.2019 at Arya Samaj Sewa Trust (Regd.), 106, Rajindra Market, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi-110054, according to Hindu rites and customs.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. Dev Raj Yadav and Mrs. Seema Devi, parents of Ms. Priya, states that, in view of the circumstance that Ms. Priya has married Mr. Prithvi Raj Chauhan of her own free will and volition and has expressed her desire to reside at her matrimonial home voluntarily, without any coercion or pressure, they do not press this petition any further. The petition is accordingly dismissed and disposed of accordingly. Pending applications also stand disposed of. SIDDHARTH MRIDUL, J I.S.MEHTA, J NOVEMBER 22, 2019 as
