The present writ petition has been filed seeking various reliefs, including extension of license period granted in respect of Multi-purpose Stall No.4 at Platform no. 2/3 of Mau Railway Station. 2.

The petitioner has been allotted license for Multi-purpose Stall No.4 at Platform no. 2/3 of Mau Railway Station.

At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that he confines the relief claimed in the petition to grant of 7 months' extension as has been granted to other similarly placed persons. As per the License Agreement dated 30th March, 2021, the term of the license was to operate for a period of W.P.(C) 1529/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. five years, i.e. from 13th April, 2021 to 12th April, 2026. 4.

Accordingly, it is directed that, subject to the payment of the license fees, the petitioner will be allowed to operate the Multi-purpose Stall No.4 at Platform no. 2/3 of Mau Railway Station, for a period of 7 months from 13th April, 2026, at the stipulated license fees.

The petitioner is directed to file an undertaking on an affidavit before this Court, within a period of four (4) weeks from today, that the petitioner shall vacate the stall in question on expiry of the extended period of 7 months, failing which, the respondents will be at liberty to remove the goods of the petitioner from the stall in question. 6.

It is further made clear that extension of the license fees of the petitioner will not preclude the Railways from inviting fresh tenders, for the awarding of the license on expiry of the extended period of license of the petitioner.

The present petition, along with all pending application(s), stands disposed of in terms of the above.
