The Original Application filed by the Petitioner against the order passed by the Respondent on 30.12.2025 whereby the Respondent refused to confirm the Petitioner as he failed to successfully complete his probation period is pending for consideration before the learned Central Administrative Tribunal on 25.02.2026.

The learned counsel representing the Petitioner submits that if interim order is not granted in favour of the Petitioner, he will be relieved from services tomorrow i.e., on 05.02.2026 and the whole purpose of filing the O.A. would stand frustrated. 3.

This Court has considered the submission. The order of interim protection can be passed only after examining the prima facie merits of the case. The learned Central Administrative Tribunal has only issued notice for 25.02.2026.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the learned Central Administrative Tribunal will consider Petitioner's request for interim order on the next date of hearing i.e., 25.02.2026, on its own merits. Pending application also stands disposed of.
