By way of the present petition filed under Section 29(A) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was last extended on 18.07.2024 which came to end on 21.12.2024.

Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, accepts notice and submits that respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition.

Learned counsels for the parties jointly submit that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments and pray that the mandate be extended by a period of one year.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of one year from 21.12.2024. The proceedings held after 21.12.2024, if any, are validated and regularised. 7.
The present petition is disposed of.
