This appeal, under Section 37 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ["the Act"], is directed against an order dated 26.12.2023, passed by the learned Sole Arbitrator, who is adjudicating disputes between the parties under a lease deed dated 10.12.2018. 2.

After some hearing, Mr. Mrityunjai Singh, learned counsel for the appellants [respondents before the learned Arbitrator], who is the lessee under the said lease deed, seeks permission to withdraw this appeal. He submits that the appellants would like to make an offer of settlement to the respondents prior to the next date of hearing before the learned Arbitrator, and will request the learned Arbitrator for appropriate ARB. directions. He states that the appellants will not seek adjournments on this ground before the learned Arbitrator.

If the appellants approach the learned Arbitrator for any directions, it is for the learned Arbitrator to take an appropriate decision, in accordance with law, after hearing the parties.
