The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, at the outset, submits that only four official witnesses remain to be examined. He submits that he is hopeful that the trial will be concluded within a period of eight to ten weeks from the date. 2.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the present application at this stage. 3.

The application is, therefore, dismissed with direction to the learned Trial Court to expediate recording of the evidence. The applicant is at liberty to file application afresh if the trial is not concluded within a period of four months. 4.
