The present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No.324/2023 under Sections 323/341/308/354/506/34 IPC registered at PS Shaheen Bagh.

The case of the prosecution is that when the complainant Md. Daoud Waseem was sprinkling water outside his house then co-accused Saleem Khan, who is son of the present petitioner started arguing with the complainant over the same. Later on co-accused Saleem along with present petitioner and other persons started beating the staff of the complainant's office. This led to the registration of the aforesaid FIR. 3.

While issuing notice vide order dated 06.02.2024, this Court had directed that no coercive action be taken against the present petitioner The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. subject to his joining investigation as and when required by the I.O. concerned.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation, which position is not disputed by the learned APP, on instructions from the IO, who is present in Court. 5.

Considering the above circumstances, as well as, the fact that the injuries suffered by the complainant / victim were simple in nature, it is directed that in the event of petitioner's arrest, he be released on bail subject to his furnishing Personal Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- and a Surety Bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer /Arresting Officer, further subject to the condition that he will join investigation as and when directed by the IO concerned.

The petition stands disposed of.
