The present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking appropriate directions with respect to the order dated 22.12.2023 passed by the learned Tribunal District Magistrate, West Delhi Tribunal, Under Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act 2007, whereby the case of the petitioner bearing no. 126/2023 titled as "Smt. Nirmal Bindal vs. Sh. Sanjeev Agarwal & Anr." is pending for disposal since 22.12.2023. The petitioner herein is the applicant before the learned Tribunal.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner being senior citizen is also suffering from various diseases and is seeking early disposal of the case before the learned Tribunal. 5.

Issue notice.

Ms. Mehak Nakra, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents appears on advance notice and accepts notice and submits that the respondent will expedite the disposal of the case. 7.

In view of the above submissions, the respondent is directed to expeditiously dispose the case no. 126/2023 preferably within three months. 8.

The petitioner further submits that the learned Tribunal also be directed to dispose of the application for stay within a week. The petitioner is at liberty to make his submissions before the learned Tribunal or to move an appropriate application for early disposal of his applications. 9.
