By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for period of six months with effect from 27.02.2025, i.e., till August 2025, for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing of the Award.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal will expire on 27.02.2025.
