1. By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A-(4) and 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks an extension the of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits the mandate is expiring on 31.01.2024 and the proceedings are at the stage of final hearing before the learned arbitrator.

3. Issue notice.

4. Mr. Akshay Chitkara, learned counsel for the respondents has accepted the notice and submits that the mandate may be extended for 30.09.2024.

5. Both the learned counsel for the parties submit that in fact there are six arbitration petitions pending and the record is bulky and voluminous in nature and requires a lot of calculations.

6. Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended.

7. In view of the request made, the mandate is extended till 30.09.2024 and present petitions are disposed of.
