This petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying for a direction to the respondents to release the disability pension in favour of the petitioner with suitable modification of the Pension Payment Order, within a time-bound manner.

He submits that the petitioner, before approaching this Court, has not submitted any representation before the respondents, however, the respondents shall consider the contents of the present petition as a representation of the petitioner and take an informed decision on the same.

Keeping in view the fair stand of the respondents, the present petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the contents of the present petition as a representation of the petitioner and decide the same by way of a speaking order within a period of eight weeks from today, communicating its decision to the petitioner. 6.
In case, the petitioner is found entitled to the grant of disability pension, the respondents shall take necessary action to release the same to the petitioner forthwith and from the date he is found to be entitled to the same.

In case, the decision of the respondents is adverse to the petitioner, it shall be open for the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with law.
