The present Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (hereinafter referred to as 'Cr.P.C, 1973), has been filed on behalf of the petitioners, seeking quashing of FIR No. 176/2017, registered at Police Station Lahori Gate, for the offence punishable under Section 392/411/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereinafter referred to as 'IPC, 1860)'.

between the respondent No.2 and the petitioners vide Compromise Deed/Settlement dated 02.07.2022. The said Settlement is already on record. As per the terms of the Settlement, both the parties shall keep harmony in future and undertake not to litigate against each other and all the issues between them have been settled. 5.

A request for quashing of the FIR has been made on account of the Compromise Deed/Settlement inter se the parties. In view of the settlement, the present Petition has been filed. The Settlement Deed is signed by all the parties and is supported with the affidavits of petitioner and respondent No.2 6.

The petitioners are present in the Court in person and the respondents are appearing through Video Conferencing and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned. The parties have endorsed the amicable settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily.

This is a case where the mobile phone of the complainant was snatched by the two petitioners but they were apprehended on the spot.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion and the matter is now pending since the last seven years. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice, to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 9.

Accordingly, FIR No. 176/2017, registered at Police Station Lahori Gate, for the offence punishable under Section 392/411/34 of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

the IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
