% 02.04.2025 1.
The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 136/2020 dated 14.03.2020 for offences under Sections 354/354(A)/354(D)/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 8/12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 registered at Police Station Tilak Nagar. 2.
It is pointed out that the chargesheet was filed long back on 29.07.2021 and the charges have also been framed. 3.
The petition seeking quashing of FIR, at this stage, is not maintainable.
4.
The petitioner has a remedy to file an appropriate petition challenging the order on charge. The petitioner essentially seems to be aggrieved due to long pendency of the proceedings before the learned Trial Court.
The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 07/04/2025 at 12:29:26
5.
Needless to say, the petitioner is at liberty to file an appropriate application, either before the Trial Court for expediting recording of evidence or a petition seeking appropriate orders from the High Court.
6.
However, no order can be passed in the present petition. 7.
The petition is, therefore, dismissed.
