The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.1/MCD to demolish the unauthorized construction carried out by the respondent no.2 at F-40, Om Vihar Extn, Ward No.122, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi - 110059.

It is stated that various complaints have been made by the petitioner to the respondent no.1. However, no action has been taken. Photographs of the unauthorized construction have been filed along with the petition. 3.
Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD questions the locus of the petitioner to file the present writ petition as it is stated that the petitioner stays at a distance from the subject property. She further submits that the property has been booked on 4th February, 2026.
