The grievance of the petitioners seems to be with respect to an application for renewal of license qua Shop No.21, Sub-Yard Okhla, Okhla Subzi Mandi, New Delhi.

The petitioners submit that the shop was allotted by DDA to late Haji Babu Khan on 08.04.1993 vide licence No. B-140 Commission Agent (B Category). The license was granted by Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee (APMC). Upon the demise of Haji Babu Khan, on the basis of his Will dated 05.03.2002, the petitioner applied for renewal of the said license. Despite there being no outstanding dues in this regard, the respondent refused to process the renewal application and vide order dated 17.05.2022 banned entry of goods in Sub-Yard Okhla Subzi Mandi leading to the filing of the instant petitions.

In the counter affidavit filed by the petitioner, it is stated that the concerned license could not be renewed since the application for not signed by all the legal heirs of late Haji babu Khan. The process has been kept in abeyance for completion of the said formalities. 4.

Under these circumstances, the Court deems it appropriate to issue following directions:- (i) Let the petitioners to approach the APMC; (ii) Let the petitioners' pending application be disposed of by the APMC by way of a speaking order, which shall be passed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of the order passed today; (iii) Thereafter, if the petitioners have any grievance, they shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, the instant petitions stand disposed of.
