The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing no. 390/2019 under Sections 323/354/506/509 of the IPC, registered with Police Station Sector-23, Dwarka, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2. 3.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer. She states that she has resolved all her disputes with the petitioner and has no grievance against him. She also joins the petitioner in praying that the FIR in question be quashed. 4.
The petitioner has also produced a settlement deed/memorandum of understanding dated 16.09.2019, which records the settlement between the parties and respondent no.2's commitment to withdraw the FIR in question.
Respondent no.2 states that she has since reconciled with the family members of her husband and has been living in her matrimonial home. 5.
The petitioner is also present in Court and is identified by his counsel. He states that he has no grievance against respondent no.2 and undertakes to this Court that he shall treat respondent no.2 with full respect and dignity. The import of the undertaking given by the petitioner has been duly explained to him.

Considering the undertaking given by the petitioner and the statement made by respondent no.2, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. Accordingly, the FIR bearing no. 390/2019 under Sections 323/354/506/509 of the IPC, registered with Police Station Sector-23, Dwarka, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed. 7.
