The present writ petition has been filed seeking various reliefs. However, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner confines his relief to grant of seven (7) months' extension on the basis of parity, with similar extension granted in other writ petitions.

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was granted a license to operate, manage SMU/ Catering Stall No. 4 at Platform No. 1 of Sadulpur Railway Station, earmarked for the physically challenged people category. 3.

As per the License Agreement dated 9th December, 2021, the term of the license was to operate for a period of five years, i.e. from 4th March, 2021 to 3rd March, 2026.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not operate the aforesaid stall for a certain period on account of the onset of Covid-19 Pandemic. months beyond the dies non period, as given in other similar cases. 5.

Reliance is placed on orders passed in WP(C) 225 of 2025 dated 10th January 2025, WP(C) 6771/2024 dated 30th May, 2024, LPA No. 746/2024 dated 5th August, 2024 and SLP(C) No. 19229/2024 dated 27th August, 2024.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly placed as the petitioners in the aforesaid cases. 7.

I have heard the counsel for the parties and perused the aforesaid orders/judgments relied upon by the petitioner. 8.

Following the directions passed in the aforesaid orders/judgments and on principles of parity, it is directed that subject to payment of license fee, the petitioner shall be allowed to operate the aforesaid stall for a further period of seven (7) months with effect from 4th March, 2026. 9.

The petitioner shall file an undertaking by way of an affidavit within two (2) weeks from today that they shall vacate the said stall after the expiry of the extended period of seven (7) months, failing which the respondent shall be at liberty to remove their goods from the stall. 10.

The writ petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
