2.

The writ petition was disposed of by this Court vide the above referred Judgment, directing as under:

"11. The writ petitions are, accordingly, allowed by directing the respondents to grant the benefit of the replacement scales as per the recommendations of the 5th CPC to the petitioners w.e.f. 01.01.1996 as against 10.10.1997. any consequential arrears on this count will be restricted to a period of three years prior to the date of filing of the respective writ petitions. The exercise in terms of this order will be carried out within a period of three months."

3.

The learned counsel for the respondents submits that there are some administrative reasons and as also the records of the petitioner have to be called from various Battalions, because of which the Judgment could not been complied with within the stipulated time. 4.

Though we do not find any justification for granting further time to the respondents, as a last opportunity, we grant further four weeks' time to the respondents to comply with the Judgment dated 14.08.2024.

5.

The application is disposed of in the above terms.
