The petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, challenging an order of the Disciplinary Authority dated 29.11.2024, by which he has been dismissed from service of respondent No. 1 - Bank.

an appeal against the impugned order, which remains pending. 3.

Mr. Sagar Saxena, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits, upon instructions, that he would be satisfied at this stage with a direction that the appeal be disposed of expeditiously.

Mr. Puneet Taneja, learned Senior Counsel for the Bank, appears on advance notice, and is agreeable to such an order. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of, with a direction that the appeal, filed by the petitioner against the impugned disciplinary order, be disposed of as expeditiously as possible, and in any event within a period of eight weeks from today.

All rights and contentions of the parties are expressly reserved, and the petitioner's remedies, in the event of an adverse order, are also reserved.
