The petitioner has filed this application for early hearing of the writ petition on the ground that there is an order of transfer dated 15.01.2025, against him.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the application is allowed, and the writ petition is taken on Board. 3.

The application is disposed of.

The writ petition is directed against an order dated 15.01.2025, by which the petitioner, who is an Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) with the respondent - Indian Oil Corporation Limited ["IOCL"], has been transferred from the Northern Region Pipelines - Bijwasan, Delhi, to Northern Region Pipelines - Tikri Kalan, Delhi. 2.

After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied with a direction that he may join the new place of W.P.(C) 1343/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. posting only after 24.03.2025, as his daughter is taking her Class-10 Board examination in the month of February/March 2025. 3.

I have heard Mr. Rajeev Lochan, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. V.N. Koura, learned counsel for IOCL, on the modalities which can be worked out for this purpose.

With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of, with the following directions:

a. The transfer order dated 15.01.2025, is not disturbed. b. The petitioner will report to the office to which he has been transferred by Monday, i.e., 17.02.2025, to complete the formalities of joining at his new station.

c. However, the petitioner may apply for leave, at the maximum, until 25.03.2025, in accordance with the leave rules of the respondent. If he makes such an application, leave will be granted in the manner for which he is eligible, for the time sought by him, subject to the above maximum period.

d. I am informed that the petitioner has submitted a certificate to the respondent, stating that he is medically unfit. He will submit a fitness certificate prior to joining normal duties. e. Subject to the aforesaid directions, no coercive steps will be taken against the petitioner, pursuant to the impugned transfer order. 5.
