The limited relief pressed for by the petitioner is that the respondents be directed to issue a certified copy of the registration certificate of the petitioner no. 1 association (Green Estate & HRE Plot Holders Association). 2.

It is submitted that the petitioner no. 1 association has been accorded Registration No. S 3506 of 1967-68. It is further submitted that despite the petitioner's association being in existence for several decades, the concerned certificate has not yet been issued by the respective authorities. 3.

difficulties being faced by it for the purpose of issuance of the registration certificate:

a.

Firstly, it is submitted that certain records pertaining to the concerned association has been seized by the respondent no. 5 / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with some criminal case.

b.

Secondly, it is submitted that there are rival factions of the petitioner's association who are claiming to be in-charge of the affairs of the said association.

At request of Court, learned counsel for CBI accedes that photocopy of the records / documents pertaining to the concerned association, which have been seized by the CBI, shall be provided to the respondent no. 4. These would include copies of any registration certificate already issued by the respondent no. 4 in respect of the concerned association. As such, the first impediment cited by learned counsel for respondent no. 4 stands taken care of.

As far as the second aspect is concerned, concededly, for the purpose of issuance of the registration certificate, respondent no. 4 is not concerned with any inter se disputes within the factions of the petitioner's association. 6.

After some hearing, it is submitted that subsequent to the examination of the documents that will be provided by the CBI, the respondent no. 4 would upload the copy of the registration certificate in respect of the concerned association on its official website. 7.

The above redresses the grievance of the petitioner in the present petition. The same is, accordingly, disposed of.
