Applicant seeks regular bail in ongoing murder trial in case arising out of FIR No.0759/2024 dated 09.11.2024, registered at P.S. Subhash Place. 2.

Learned APP for the State submits that all the public witnesses/eye-witnesses have already been examined and every effort would be made to conclude and wrap up the trial, as expeditiously as possible. 3.

He submits that only formal witnesses are left. 4.

As per the Nominal Roll, the custody period of the applicant is hardly of around 1 1⁄2 year.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for the applicant states that he would not press the present application at this stage if a request is made to the learned Trial Court to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the above, the present application is disposed of, as not pressed.

Learned Trial Court is also requested to make best endeavour to dispose of the abovesaid case as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the date it takes up the matter. 9.

Needless to say, if the case is not disposed of within the abovesaid time-frame, the applicant would be at liberty to file application afresh before this Court.
