This Petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal in the Arbitration proceedings which are going on between the parties.

Material on record indicates that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 19.12.2019 to adjudicate upon the disputes which have arisen between the parties.

It is stated by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the dates of trial has already been fixed by the Arbitral Tribunal and so also the date of hearing. It is stated that as per the dates fixed by the Arbitral Tribunal, the final hearing is to be concluded by 19.04.2025 therefore, the mandate of the Arbitrator be extended.

Accordingly, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 31.12.2025, so that the award can be pronounced and no further extension of time would be required by the Tribunal. 6.

Learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner states that allegations, if any made against the Respondent in the instant Petition stands withdrawn and eschewed.

The Petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
