By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('A&C Act'), the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal (AT) by a period of 12 months for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 28.01.2025.

Learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondents on advance copy, accepts notice and submits that the respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the award has been reserved by the learned AT.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 12 months w.e.f 28.01.2025 till 27.01.2026. It is further observed that any proceedings conducted after the last mandate expired, shall also stand validated and regularised. 7.
