Further to order dated 04.02.2025, learned counsel for the parties state that an examination of petitioner No. 1 by a Medical Board has already taken place, and a further examination is scheduled to be held on 06.05.2025.

After the Medical Board gives its report, the respondent will consider whether petitioner No. 1 is liable to retire, being unfit from government service due to her medical condition, and if so whether an appointment can be given to her dependent daughter [petitioner No. 2 in the writ petition].

Mr. Vikrant N. Goyal, learned counsel for the respondent, states that a final decision on the matter will be taken within a period of three months from today.
