Petitioners have sought quashing of FIR No.707/2022 of PS Bindapur for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC. The petitioners as well as respondent no.2 are present in court identified by the Investigating Officer. I have spoken with the parties in Hindi and it is submitted by them that they have settled all matrimonial disputes and towards full and final settlement, respondent no.2 (complainant de facto) has already received the complete amount of Rs.9,50,000/-. between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 already stands dissolved by way of decree of divorce.

In the above circumstances, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push the parties through trial. Therefore, the petition is allowed and consequently, the FIR No.707/2022 of PS Bindapur for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC as well as the proceedings arising out of the same are quashed.
