The petitioners, by way of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, seek protection in respect of apprehended threats from respondent Nos. 3 to 7, who are family members of petitioner No. 1. 2.

The petitioners assert that they were married on 04.02.2026. A copy of the marriage certificate issued by Arya Samaj Mandir (Trust) has been placed on record. The Class 10th marksheets of both petitioners have also been placed on record. These show that petitioner No. 1 was born on 14.04.2006 and petitioner No. 2 was born on 03.02.2005. Both have, therefore, attained majority.

In view of the fact that neither of the petitioners is a minor and that they solemnised their marriage on 04.02.2026, Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel (Criminal) appearing on behalf of the State, submits W.P.(CRL) 475/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
