This is a petition seeking direction to the Police officer of PS Tigri to arrange meeting of the petitioner with her daughter, namely, Shahista and also to provide her mobile number to the petitioner. 2.
The petitioner is the mother of Shahista and in view of the estranged relationship, Shahista is not meeting the petitioner. The petitioner out of natural love and affection, just wishes to meet her daughter. 3.
A similar petition was filed earlier and this Court on 21.10.2024 directed as under:- The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

The present petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking a direction to the police officials of Police Station Tigri to allow the petitioner to meet with her daughter.
2. The petitioner essentially seeks access to her daughter.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition filed by the petitioner's daughter [W.P.(CRL) 947/2024] was disposed of by directing the petitioner herein not to interfere with the married and peaceful life of the petitioners. He submits that the petitioner in no manner whatsoever will interfere with the life of their daughter, however, just wants to be in touch with her to maintain the family ties.

The learned Standing Counsel, at the outset, submits that the phone number of the concerned Beat Officer who had appeared before this Court on an earlier occasion in W.P.(CRL.) 947/2024 would be provided to the petitioner, and the petitioner would be at liberty to contact the concerned Beat Officer and decide the future course of action with regard to maintaining ties with her daughter.
5. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in case any grievance remains."

Ms. Bandhopadhya, learned ASC for the respondent on instructions of the Beat Officer states that in compliance of the order dated 21.10.2024, the Beat Officer duly contacted the daughter of the petitioner namely Shahista and she clearly stated that she does not wish to meet her mother and also refrained the Beat Officer from sharing her mobile number with the petitioner. 5.
