% 11.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 are living in the same locality and known to each other.

With the intervention of their common friends they have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Rohini Court on 12th October, 2017, therefore, FIR No. 418/2014 under Sections 354/354B IPC registered at police station Alipur, on the complaint of respondent no.2, may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Jaibir Singh of police station Alipur. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. He has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the

petitioner and respondent no.2 before the Mediation Centre voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
