CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANMOHAN

O R D E R

% 13.01.2017 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent nos. 1 and 3 to investigate the complaint filed by the petitioner against respondent no. 2 alleging corruption. It is the petitioner's case that respondent no. 2 has been promoted to the post of General Manager (Eastern Railways) despite there being several disciplinary proceedings and criminal complaints pending against him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner has sent number of complaints to respondent no.1 and 3 alleging corruption by respondent no. 2, but no action has been taken till date.

A perusal of the file reveals that petitioner's complaints are under investigation. Since the petitioner's first complaint is dated 25th May, 2016 and the last complaint is dated 16th December, 2016, this Court is of the view that the present writ petition is premature. Accordingly, the same is disposed of.
