By way of the present application, the applicant seeks grant of interim bail in connection with FIR No. 274/2023 dated 08.06.2023, registered at Police Station Jafrabad, for offences punishable under Sections 302, 307, 394, 397 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2.
The grounds on which interim bail is sought are set out in the present application as follows:
"2. That recently the mother of the petitioner namely Mubeena (age 64 years) has collapsed at home due to breathing difficulties. 3. That during check-up/treatment, it has been revealed that the mother of the petitioner has suffered bilateral kidney failure, and her condition is deteriorating rapidly. She has other comorbidities as well. She is currently taking treatment/admitted in the emergency of Lok Nayak Hospital, Delhi and the doctors have advised discharging her to home care as she may not survive for long. Copies of the medical documents of the petitioner's mother is being annexed herewith." 3.
The medical documents placed on record by the applicant have been verified by the prosecution.
Mr. Tarang Srivastava, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, has handed over a status report dated 13.02.2026, which is taken on record.

As per the status report, the medical records have been duly verified from Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi. The concerned doctor has confirmed that the applicant's mother was admitted to the said hospital on 05.02.2026 and was treated for chronic renal failure. She is also stated to be suffering from Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 and respiratory complications secondary to chronic renal failure. It is further noted that she was discharged from the hospital upon improvement in her condition. 5.
The verified medical records indicate that the applicant's mother is in a precarious state of health, having been diagnosed with chronic renal failure.

Mr. Azhar Qayum, learned counsel for the applicant, further submits that the applicant has been in judicial custody since 09.06.2023, i.e., for a period of nearly three years.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances, and on humanitarian considerations, it is directed that the applicant be released on interim bail for a period of 10 days from the date of his release, subject The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/Jail Superintendent, and further subject to the following conditions: a) The applicant shall, upon his release, furnish his mobile number to the concerned Investigating Officer/SHO and shall keep the said mobile phone switched on at all times. The mobile number shall not be changed or switched off without prior intimation to the Investigating Officer during the period of interim bail; b) The applicant shall provide the address at which he shall reside upon release and shall not change the same without prior intimation to the concerned Investigating Officer/SHO; c) The applicant shall appear before the learned Trial Court if any date is fixed during the period of interim bail; d) The applicant shall not commit any offence during the period of his release;
e) The applicant shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat, or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case, nor shall he tamper with the evidence or attempt to influence any witness in any manner whatsoever; f) At the time of release, concerned Jail Superintendent is directed to inform the applicant in writing of the date and time by which he is required to surrender upon expiry of the interim bail period. 8.
