10.02.2025 for a period of 04 weeks on the ground that his wife had to undergo surgery.

The discharge summary in respect of the wife is appended to the applications; which shows that the wife was admitted to hospital on 16.02.2025; and was discharged on 19.02.2025, at which point she was advised bed rest for 06 weeks.

Mr. Pranay Abhishek, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that after a review done by the attending doctors on 26.02.2025, the wife has been directed to remain on bed rest; and that therefore, the petitioner needs to be beside her during her period of recuperation.

Issue notice.

Mr. Tarang Srivastva, learned APP appears on behalf of the State on advance copy; accepts notice; and opposes the extension of interim bail, submitting that no cogent ground has been made-out for extension. 6.
Learned APP submits, that the petitioner has availed interim bail last year from 28.06.2024 to 30.07.2024 in BAIL APPLN. No. 2174/2024; and then again from 14.10.2024 to 17.11.2024 in BAIL APPLN. No. 3652/2024.

The interim bail granted to the petitioner runs-out on 12.03.2025. 8.
Though this court does not find any compelling ground for extending the interim bail as prayed-for, but on humanitarian considerations, the petitioner is granted further time till 20.03.2025 to surrender back to custody.

It is made clear that no further extension of interim bail shall be granted to the petitioner on the same ground.
