O R D E R

By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., the girl child/Rxxx seeks following prayer :- "(A) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ (s), order (s), or direction (s) thereby directing the Respondent No. 1 and 2 to perform their duty by providing the security to the girl as well president of petitioner;"

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was beaten mercilessly on 03.02.2024 whereafter she was further threatened with life by respondent Nos. 3 and 4, who are her parents. Thereafter, the girl child ran away and approached the petitioner seeking protection. girl child was beaten black and blue. A complaint dated 07.02.2024 is also given to SHO, P.S. Sagarpur.

Mr. Khatri, learned ASC for the State, on instructions, states that girl child is presently residing in the jurisdiction of P.S. Dabri. It is also submitted that as per the school records, her age is verified to be 17 years and 4 months.

Accordingly, present petition is disposed of with the directions to SHO, P.S. Dabri to produce the girl child before the concerned Child Welfare Committee within 24 hours. In the meantime, SHO shall also ensure safety and protection of the girl child. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
