After making some submissions, counsel for the Petitioner, states that he would like to withdraw the present application. However, he urges that trial in SC No. 691/2021 should be expedited as the Petitioner has been in custody for nearly 3 years and 10 months, and the prosecution evidence has not been concluded.

Considering the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the recording of the prosecution witnesses preferably within six months from today. 3.

It is clarified that the Court has not examined the merits of the case and all rights and contentions of the parties are left open. 4.

Disposed of.
