Petitioner is, reportedly, eye-witness of the incident of murder of his brother.

The abovesaid incident resulted in registration of FIR No. 821/2015 at PS Dwarka North (South West) for commission of offences under Section 302 IPC and Sections 25/27 Arms Act.

According to petitioner, on the basis of earlier threat perception, Delhi Police had provided him with a PSO for due protection of his life and safety. However, such facility was, abruptly, withdrawn in November 2025 despite the fact that the threat perception continues. 4.

He also submits that no reason has been assigned as to why PSO was withdrawn, all of sudden.

However, after hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for petitioner does not press the present petition and seeks liberty to file appropriate request before the Designating Committee i.e. Witness Protection Committee of South West District, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi through its Member Secretary i.e. Chief Prosecutor/Head of Prosecution.
