This Court is informed that the surgery of the wife of the applicant in this case was conducted on 05.02.2026 and she was discharged on 07.02.2026 from the hospital. Further it is informed that the applicant is on interim bail till today.

4.
This Court notes that the applicant was granted interim bail vide order dated 29.01.2026 on the ground that the surgery of his wife was rescheduled to 30.01.2026. The learned APP for the State, on instructions from the concerned Investigating Officer (I.O.) submits that the mother of the applicant, who is 63 years of age, will be able to take care of the wife of the applicant.
5.
Therefore, considering the fact that the surgery of the wife of the applicant has already been conducted and mother of the applicant is present to take care of the wife of the applicant, this Court finds no ground for extension of the interim bail.
6.
Accordingly, the present application stands dismissed. 7.
The applicant however is granted time till 6:00 PM on 21.02.2026 to surrender before the concerned Jail Authorities. 8.
