The petitioner has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, for the following prayers:

"(i) Allow the present Writ Petition;

(ii) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, thereby directing the Respondents No.1 to 3 to register the case/FIR under the relevant provisions as per law and also under I.T. Act against the Respondent No.4, on the basis of complaints dt.

19.12.2022, 20.12.2022 and 23.12.2022 lodged by the petitioner against the respondent No.4, to the Respondents No.2 & 3. (iii) Issue directions to the Respondents No.1 to 3 for providing safety and security to the Petitioner and his family members, in view of the acts and activities of the Respondent No.4.

(iv) Pass any other or further order (s), which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in favour of the Petitioner and against the Respondents, in view of detailed submissions made hereinabove, to meet the ends of justice."

the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to seek appropriate remedies, as available to him in law, as far as prayer (ii) is concerned.

As far as prayer (iii) is concerned, Ms. Rupali Bandhopadhya, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, who appears on advance notice, states that the mobile numbers of the concerned Station House Officer and Beat Constable will be provided to the petitioner so that he may contact them in the event of any exigency. 4.

As no further orders are sought in this petition, the petition, alongwith the pending application, is disposed of.
