Vide the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following relief: "(a) Issue an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ and to set aside the rejection slip dated 6.2.2023 and to further direct the respondent that petitioner be subjected for PST & PET for the post of Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) and if found fit then to give appointment to the post of Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) as per merit obtained in present selection process with all consequential benefits including seniority & promotion and pay & allowances."

In view of the averments made in the present petition and the fact that the petitioner has not been allowed to undergo the Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the of Head Constable (Radio W.P.(C) 2023/2023 By:SAHIL SHARMA 11:59:30

Mechanic), which is the post in question.

Accordingly, we hereby dispose of the present petition directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to participate in the aforementioned test within two weeks, and if the petitioner is found fit in the said test, the respondents shall allow the petitioner to join the further selection process. 4.

The present petition is disposed of along with the pending applications.
