CRL.M.A. 14755/2024 (Reduction of surety amount) 3.

The present application under Sections 441/445 read with Section 482 of the CrPC seeks following prayers:- "It is therefore prayed that in the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to: (a) Reduce the amount of surety to 50,000/- and release the applicant on personal bond only without insisting on surety to the satisfaction of Jail Superintendant only due to the reasons mentioned above; or (b) Release the applicant on furnishing personal bond of Rs.50,000/only and deposit of cash.ofRs.50,000/- only in lieu of Surety bond to the satisfaction of Jail Superintendant; and/or;

(c) Pass such other and further order(s) as it may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of. the case in favour of the applicant and in the interest of justice."
