The present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, seeks the following prayers:
"(i) order against Respondents thereby directing them to decide / grant prosecution sanction application U/ s 197 CrPC dated 16.09.2023 in a time bound manner.
(ii) any other or further order, as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice"

Taking note of the fact that the Petitioner's application qua prosecution sanction is pending consideration since a year, this Court by The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. order dated 18th February, 2025 directed the Respondents to take a decision on the Petitioner's application dated 6th April, 2023. 5.
The afore-noted application has now been decided by order dated 8th May, 2025, whereby the request in aforenoted application has not been acceded to, and accordingly, the request for grant of prosecution sanction under Section 197 Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 to prosecute the public servants has been denied.

In light of the above, the relief sought in the present petition is rendered infructuous and the petition is disposed of. 7.
It is clarified that the Petitioner shall be free to take recourse to appropriate legal remedies as available in law against the rejection of the sanction.
