Joint Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as 'B.N.S.S.')/old under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as 'Cr.PC'), has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner, Mr. Jaswinder for quashing of FIR No. 1759/2015 dated 11.12.2015 under Section 323/354/354-D/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereinafter referred to as 'IPC'), registered at Police Station Tilak Nagar and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, in view of the Settlement dated The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

On advance Notice, learned APP has appeared and accepted the Notice on behalf of the State.

As per the FIR, the Petitioner and the Complainant were pursuing the same Computer Course where they became friendly. However, after sometime, the Complainant was not inclined to continue with a friendship, which hurt the Applicant and he started blackmailing her by claiming that he had the photographs, which he would show to her mother and other family members.

On the Complaint of the Respondent No.2, FIR No. 1759/2015 dated 11.12.2015 under Section 323/354/354-D/506 IPC, got registered at Police Station Tilak Nagar.

The Petitioner is present in person, who states that there were normal photographs taken during their friendship, which have already been deleted by the Petitioner, on the insistence of her brother. 9.
Today, the Respondent No. 2/Complainant, who is present in the Court, states that she has no objection if the said FIR is quashed. 10.
The parties are present before this Court in-person today, and have been identified by their Counsel and Investigating Officer concerned and they have entered into the Settlement voluntarily and without any fear and coercion and undertake to remain bound by the terms of the said Settlement. 11.
Considering the nature of the allegations and that they have settled the matter, the FIR No. 1759/2015 dated 11.12.2015 under Section 323/354/354-D/506 IPC and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
