This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking production of Ms. XXX. 2.

The respondents have filed the Status Report dated 25.02.2026, which states that the missing girl has come back to her house, and is presently staying with the petitioner. It is further stated that based on the statement of the missing girl, in FIR No. 73/2026, offences under Section 64(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS) and Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) have also been added and the investigation has been handed over to a female Police Officer.

Keeping in view the fact that the missing girl has been retrieved, and is presently with the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. 4.

We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the statement of the girl or the action taken consequent thereto by the respondents.
