This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "1. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents to forthwith consider and decide the Petitioner's PM-UDAY application bearing Case ID PM-UDAY/CASE/11102025110601/1, submitted on 11.10.2025, within a fixed time frame as may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court;

2. Direct the Respondents to grant ownership rights and execute the conveyance deed in favour of the Petitioner in respect of his residential property (UGF) bearing Plot Nos. 13, situated at Gram The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The case of the petitioner is that he is in possession and occupation of a residential property bearing Plot No. 13, Gram Pustani Pochanpur Extension, Delhi-45, Colony Registration No. 1419, Village Pochanpur, South-West Delhi. The said colony was notified under the Pradhan Mantri Unauthorised Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojana ("PM-UDAY"). 3.

Consequently, the petitioner submitted an application dated 11.10.2025 seeking conferment of ownership rights and execution of conveyance deed in respect of the said property. The petitioner's application was registered and allotted Case ID PM-UDAY/CASE/11102025110601/1. 4.

Despite completion of all the formalities, the petitioner's application submitted on 11.10.2025 has remained pending. 5.

Hence, the present petition.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Singh, learned counsel, for and on behalf of Ms. Takiar, learned standing counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 8.

In view of the prayers made, it is directed that the respondent shall consider and decide the petitioner's application dated 11.10.2025 bearing Case ID PM-UDAY/CASE/11102025110601/1 expeditiously and in any case not later than 8 weeks from today. The respondent shall also give a personal hearing to the petitioner.
