Upon going through the amended writ petition, we find that no effective relief has been sought against respondent no.10. 2.

Consequently, respondent no.10 is deleted from the array of parties.

As is evident from a reading of the writ petition, the primary grievance of the petitioner was of a PAN Card having been issued carrying identical numbers in favour of the petitioner as well as respondent no. 4.

Mr. Maratha, learned counsel representing respondents no. 1 and 2 has drawn our attention to paragraph 13 of the affidavit and where it is averred that the PAN Card came to be erroneously and inadvertently issued and that corrective steps have also been taken and a corrected PAN Card issued in favour of the petitioner through NSDL/UTI.

In that view of the matter, we find no justification to continue the writ petition further on our board. The same shall consequently stand disposed of with liberty reserved to writ petitioner to approach respondent nos. 5 to 9 to take further steps or corrective measures as may be warranted in the facts and circumstances of the case.
