% 30.01.2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner has tendered in Court the order passed by the Supreme Court in his own case, i.e. in S.L.P. (Crl.) No. 391/2013 dated 18.01.2013, as also the order passed in the case of a coconvict Tejpal Singh by this Court in W.P. (Crl.) No. 3227/2016 on 21.11.2016 to submit that condition No.7 imposed by the State while granting parole has been relaxed on the ground that the parole was being sought with a view to attend marriage of a family member. The petitioner has preferred this petition to seek parole. During pendency of this petition, the State has itself passed an order granting parole

to the petitioner. Condition No.7 is that the petitioner shall not be released till the other convicts in the case have surrendered post-completion of the parole that may have been granted. In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner seeks relaxation of condition No.7.

Looking to the aforesaid circumstances, the condition No.7 imposed by the State in its order dated 16.01.2017 stands relaxed. This is subject to the condition that the petitioner shall not contact the co-convicts, who are released on parole simultaneously.
